Dekatriasartorite specimen

Outstanding metallic big crystal (about 2-3 mm) of the new mineral of the sartorite group, dekatriasartorite (IMA 2017-071) from the type and only known locality worldwide, the Lengenbach quarry. Analyzed specimen by SEM-EDS, analysis performed by Dr.Topa of the Natural History Museum Wien. Dekatriasartorite is the latest member of the sartorite group, just approved by the IMA at the end of 2017. Almost all six members of sartorite group are very rare (enneasartorite, heptasartorite, incomsartorite, hendekasartorite, sartorite, dekatriasartorite) but probably dekatriasartorite is the rarest of them. — Photo: David Hospital · CC BY-SA 4.0
