Håleniusite-(La) Locality: Bastnäs mines, Riddarhyttan, Skinnskatteberg, Västmanland, Sweden Size: 5.0 cm x 3.0 cm x 1.5 cm A fantastic combination specimen from the historic Bastnas ore field. Pale yellow, subhedral aggregates of the rare earth oxyhalide haleniusite are intimately intergrown with lavender-gray, massive cerite-(Ce), dark green-gray tornebohmite-(La), black, granular massive ferriallanite, sub-radial sheaves of an amphibole group mineral, and vibrant green, radial aggregates of brochantite.
