Laflammeite is an IMA-recognized mineral species in the sulfide class, with the chemical formula Pd₃Pb₂S₂.

It crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system (space group C2/m).

Key properties: Mohs hardness 3.5; specific gravity 9.41; Dark gray streak; Metallic. Anisotropism: Weak; brownish gray to grayish brown. Bireflectance: Weak. R1-R2: (400) 44.0-45.2 luster.

IMA symbol Lfl, IMA status: approved, named in 2000.

Found in a platinum-group-element deposit in a layered ultramafic intrusive complex, formed under relatively high-Pb, low-S conditions.

It is found associated with Vysotskite, zvyagintsevite, cuprorhodsite-malanite, laurite-erlichmanite, irarsite, keithconnite, gold, chalcopyrite, bornite, millerite.

The mineral was named to honor Joseph Hector Gilles Laflamme (1947–), Canada Centre for Mineral and Energy Technology (CANMET), Ottawa, Canada, for his work on platinum-group minerals.
