It is a member of the Alumohydrocalcite structural group.
Key properties: Mohs hardness 2; specific gravity 3.069; Silky luster; optically biaxial.
IMA symbol Ndv, IMA status: questionable, named in 1958.
A rare fracture filling in oxidized granodiorite porphyry which also hosts polymetallic ores.
It is found associated with Pyrolusite, iron oxide, cerussite.
