Sbacchiite is an IMA-recognized mineral species in the halide class, with the chemical formula Ca₂AlF₇.

It crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system (space group Pnma).

Key properties: specific gravity 3.08; White streak; Vitreous luster; optically biaxial.

IMA symbol Scc, IMA status: approved, named in 2018.

Found as a high-temperature encrustation formed by the extraction of aluminum and calcium from the underlying rocks by HF activity around a volcanic fumarole.

It is found associated with Gearsksutite, usovite, creedite, opal.
