Tsangpoite is an IMA-recognized mineral species in the silicate class, with the chemical formula Ca₅(PO₄)₂(SiO₄).

It crystallizes in the hexagonal crystal system (space group P6_3/m).

IMA symbol Tpo, IMA status: approved, named in 2014.

Found in an angrite meteorite as well-defined domains in association with Fe sulfide near the contact between fayalite-kirschsteinite overgrowth/symplectite and hedenbergite.

It is found associated with Kuratite, ulvöspinel, hedenbergite, Ca and Fe olivine, Fe sulfide.

The mineral was named to honor Professor Dr. Tsang-Po Yen (1914-1994), senior geologist of the Geological Survey of Taiwan (1946-1974) and director of the Institute of Geophysics.
