Allabogdanite
Allabogdanite is a very rare phosphide mineral with the chemical formula (Fe,Ni)2P, found in 1994 in a meteorite. It was described for an occurrence in the Onello meteorite in the Onello River basin, Sakha Republic; Yakutia, Russia; associated with taenite, schreibersite, kamacite, graphite and awaruite. It was named for Russian geologist Alla Bogdanova. In a June 2021 study, scientists reported the discovery of terrestrial allabogdanite in a sedimentary formation. It is located in the Negev desert of Israel, just southwest of the Dead Sea.

Allabogdanite is an IMA-recognized mineral species in the native element class, with the chemical formula (Fe,Ni)₂P.
It crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system (space group Pnma). It is a member of the Barringerite structural group.
Key properties: Mohs hardness 5–6; specific gravity 6.729; Bright metallic luster.
IMA symbol Abg, IMA status: approved, named in 2000.
A primary phase in nickel-rich ataxite meteorites. In surficial terrestrial pyrometamorphic rocks, possibly formed by transformation from barringerite.
It is found associated with Nickelphosphide, schreibersite, awaruite, graphite; barringerite, diopside (Israel).
The mineral was named to honor Alla N. Bogdanova, (b. 1947), Geological Institute, Kola Science Center, Russian Academy of Sciences, Apatity, Kola Peninsula, Russia.
