Arsenohauchecornite Locality: Vermilion Mine, Denison Township, Sudbury District, Ontario, Canada Dimensions: 1.7cm x 1.0cm x 0.7cm Desciption: Arsenohauchecornite is a very rare Ni-Bi-As sulfosalt (3 localities worldwide - MINDAT) and this famous Canadian mine is the Type Locality. Irregular masses and microcrystals of bronze-metallic arsenohauchecornite are noted on three sides of the thumbnail matrix. A couple of chalcopyrites are also noted. This is a rich example of this rarity. — Photo: Robert M. Lavinsky · CC BY-SA 3.0
