Arsenuranospathite is an IMA-recognized mineral species in the arsenate class, with the chemical formula Al(UO₂)₂(AsO₄)₂F·20H₂O.
It crystallizes in the tetragonal crystal system (space group Pmmm).
Key properties: Mohs hardness 2; specific gravity 2.54; White streak; optically biaxial.
IMA symbol Aush, IMA status: approved, named in 1978.
Found as a very rare secondary mineral in uranium deposits.
It is found associated with Zeunerite, uranophane, studtite, uranospinite, ianthinite, metakirchheimerite, “uranocircite”–heinrichite, barite, “limonite”.
As the arsenate analog of uranospathite.
