Manganolangbeinite is an IMA-recognized mineral species in the sulfate class, with the chemical formula K₂Mn²⁺₂(SO₄)₃.
It crystallizes in the cubic crystal system (space group P2_13). It is a member of the Langbeinite structural group.
IMA symbol Mlgb, grandfathered status — known before the IMA’s founding, named in 1924.
Found in a cavern in lava, in thenardite and halite stalactites, formed by fumarolic action.
It is found associated with Thenardite, halite, sylvite, aphthitalite.
As a manganese compound analogous to langbeinite.
